The Benefits of Digital TV

Here is some good news for a change.  This Friday more than two million households will loose their TVs.  Actually it is just their TV reception due to the digital conversion, but the effect is similar.  This is good news for several reasons.  Families will spend more time together, talk more, read more, and just spend time together.  Hopefully people will stop and take a moment to think about how much television they are watching and decide to do something better with their time.  Hopefully the influence of the secular media will decrease if only for the few days it takes these households to run out and purchase a converter box funded by my tax dollars.
